October 2007 - Eurami Group introduces
its latest upgrade to the Gamma-Scout® data
download software, in the form of v.3.30. The new data logging
package boasts numerous improvements over v.3.20 including
4-way data display with enhanced graphics, remote buffer control,
and faster installation. As always, the new software and USB
cable are both furnished free with the Gamma-Scout®.
March 2007 - The Gamma-Scout®
team continues to push forward with new developments in their
never ending committment to make the Gamma-Scout®
Radiation Detector the most useful radiation detection device
on the market. Recently, a new real-time version has been
added which offers continual data download capability. This
adaptation is perfect for users wishing to control remote
data transfer from the system data buffer to their PC. Remote
data logging and automated data collection are just two applications
for this new product version. The Gamma-Scout®
Geiger Counter is now available in 3 versions: the Traditional,
Alert, and Online Models.
June 2006 - Eurami Group announces the latest
improvement to the Gamma-Scout® Radiation Detector.
Newly added is a USB data transfer port to replace the DB9
Serial port. We've also incorporated a number of important
improvements designed to enhance shock resistance and increase
product longevity. A redesign of the battery mount and power
supply circuitry promises even more reliability with demanding
field measurement applications.
February 2005 - Eurami Group passes the
3000 unit mark in worldwide sales for the remarkable Gamma-Scout®
Radiation Detector. With export sales now accounting for more
than 50% of total revenue, the outlook for global security
and consumer markets is better than ever. Some of our most
recent foreign customer categories include Embassy Security,
a Nuclear Regulatory Agency, and the world's largest privately
held cargo inspection firm.
May 2004 -
Eurami Group introduces its newest upgrades to the Gamma-Scout®
Radiation Detector with the addition of 2 new advancements.
Responding to customer suggestions, we have further augmented
the embedded alert function with a 3-way Threshold Alarm, adding
tone, click and cascading click alerts. Also implemented is
an expanded measurement range to 1000 uSv/hr. This brings to
14, the number of improvement made to the Gamma-Scout®
over the past 3 years.
November 25, 2003 - The U.S. Congress is
now being protected by Gamma-Scout® Geiger Counter / Radiation
Detector. The DC Capitol Police have adopted the Gamma-Scout®
Radiation Detector for use by their forces to protect our
Nation's Capitol, joining dozens of other police, fire and
rescue departments across the U.S. who have deployed the Gamma-Scout®
Geiger Counter / Radiation Detector to guard and protect the
community against radiation danger.
September 12, 2003 - Eurami Group introduces the latest version of the very successful Gamma-Scout® Geiger Counter / Radiation Detector. The new "SIGNAL" version features a User-Programmable Threshold Alarm and easier to read Digital Display. Other improvements include revised download software that extends compatibility of the Gamma-Scout with Windows XP.
June 14, 2002 - Gamma-Scout® receives it's 500th law enforcement order. After just over 1 year on the market, the Gamma-Scout® Geiger Counter / Radiation Detector is pleased to announce the shipment of its 500th unit to a law enforcement or security agency. The latest shipment, to a police department in Florida, also marks a milestone in market development for the innovative radiation detection device, which to now has been mostly sold to consumers and private companies.
